anyone happen to have a real live version of microsoft office with serial number and everything they'd like to let a cute wiseass redhead use for her laptop?

i apparently need one as my trial edition that came with is nigh on expiring.

also, it appears when my old data was recovered, my writing and pictures didnt make it on the discs...so if anyone maybe wants to help and try to get that info out of the old laptop for me, i'll make you cookies. eventually.

somehow i ended up buying a new laptop tonight.
wheee!

long story short, the one i bought from bad_gustav a few FLARFs ago was just slowing down and not really portable. it was a great deal at the time and definitely was great for what i needed it for while on the road. i only spent $100 to get it, and another $100 to whip it up a bit. so i definitely got my money's worth.

that being said, i now have a laptop i dont need anymore.
i almost think maybe ravenways or her son could get some miles out of it? but like i said, the battery is ancient, so it needs to be plugged in for use, the screen occasionally flickers, and it's not wireless internet, but it's great for music, microsoft office and such...

and if she says no, if anyone else wants it...i'm probably just going to give it away to a good cause.
it's an hp, pentium 3 i think.
any takers?
