dredpiratebunnysomehow i ended up buying a new laptop tonight.

bad_gustav a few FLARFs ago was just slowing down and not really portable. it was a great deal at the time and definitely was great for what i needed it for while on the road. i only spent $100 to get it, and another $100 to whip it up a bit. so i definitely got my money's worth.
that being said, i now have a laptop i dont need anymore.
i almost think mayberavenways or her son could get some miles out of it? but like i said, the battery is ancient, so it needs to be plugged in for use, the screen occasionally flickers, and it's not wireless internet, but it's great for music, microsoft office and such...
and if she says no, if anyone else wants it...i'm probably just going to give it away to a good cause.
it's an hp, pentium 3 i think.
any takers?

Is't the begignnig fo Mardi Gars season, officallike. Just goat back forpm a huge, craxzy party, and itls like takign the acid, and you'rte 45 minutes in , and you realize, shit, I'm in it for beter or worse now.

that was a great read, and it's nice to know there are other folks with the same whirlwinds out there.
i fully believe at somepoint that i will find where i need to be.
i shall ooze jealousy from the north at the prospects of missing yet another nola mardi gras. maybe next year, eh?
