i am now the owner of a smexxay new piece of machinery. i almost want to lick it.

back during blacksun, a.k.a. "technology go boom weekend," my laptop fried out and died. kerphlooey. not sure what happened, but the hotel power surge maybe killed it. i took it to work and my IT guys salvaged my info, but it was fried. feh.

i'd been putting off buying a new one, but finally did today...thanks to tiamatlady for carting my ass around and offering advice.

so yeah....i'm a little turned on by my new laptop.
