the smoldering that used to be

i feel pretty damn good. last nights dancing was great. the DJ's played a lot of great stuff. i've got to remember how good it feels to be dancing like that, and find a way to go more often. heh, i think i say that every time.

today the office is closed, but i've been playing work catch up anyway. also doing laundry, and there are a thousand other household chores i've neglected. plus its a gym day. woot.

i'm gonna be a little swamped this week i think, though, since i leave for my 2 week excursion next week: 6 days in palm desert CA, 5 days in vegas, 3 days in denver. at least that wont all be work. my friend and i are gonna nerd out and do a thursday night midnight IMAX watchmen show while in vegas. heh. never did pick another cirque show to go to though. looks like just penn & teller for now.

i'm finding clarity lately too. in the little things. and i like that.

last night was fun (:3
thanks to tiamatlady for driving...and it was cool to see poetman socially as well. i get used to him being bossman so much i forget how fun hanging out can be.
also got to hang with bunnygoth for a bit too. (wow twice in one month!) i dont see her much, so that was cool. visited a bit with strumpetone and her boy also, which is cool as i usually only get to see her during faire.

there were some other peeps i got to see and say hi to also. the dj's were good. i danced. there were beverages of naughtiness plied to me. i danced some more. i felt good.

i am teh sleepy today though. the excel is bleeding digits all over the place. thank the gods for coffee and advil. its whats for breakfast.
