mmmm. i think guy_todd has made me a flatbread's fan. well, except for today's way too long wait time for food, i've liked it both times. and he's a good lunch date.

boss has left for the day and wont be back until next thurdsday i think. which means i might actually get stuff done. she keeps giving me some new responsibility every day. it has less and less to do with marketing music and more to do with keeping up her end of the workload. i wouldnt mind so much doing this for her if it paid better. i get depressed seeing what an average executive assistant makes....and realizing i am way below the line. c'est la vie, mes amis.
partly, i've been dealing well with things here....this week at least! i am keeping other possibilities in mind. but i've kinda been on a goofy high note this whole week. which is pretty cool, and i'm not taking it for granted.

i'm slowly changing my attitude about who i am and what i want to accomplish. of course there are rough days. but there are also good days. and hey if i'm currently at a speed bump on the road of life, it just means fast times are ahead. just no flat tires though, ok? cool.

this weekend i will be escorting my beautiful wife istilana to the hottest party this side of the mississippi: the bubble wrap ball. i will also get to see the lovely wench18 (who is never gaping) and CT rob. the party is at his house after all...and dammit i'm looking forward to his amazing hot tub. should be tons of fun. (must remember to pack my bathrobe...)

tonight, the gym....possibly some typical friday drunken olympics....tomorrow, the world.

What kind of events are there at the drunken olympics? I kicked someone's ass in chess after getting pretty messed up on my 21st BDay. Does that count? ;) Yes, I am such a geek :)

2 fridays ago it was drunken vacuuming (my favorite)...but there was drunken laundry and drunken dishwashing also.

Really? I'd think staying away from drunken dishwashing would be advisable... unless you're using paper or plastic plates :) How bout drunken LJ updating? That'd probably be a good event.
