like a kick in the face, reality says good morning!

back from the world of lunacon.

i'm still sleepy and feeling good. (despite the latest infractions from the crazy boss lady) it's been hard to focus, and i think i'm not giving 100% into the job today either. feh!

i have some wonderful memories from the weekend. including some delicious flirtations, and some fantastic whiskey cake (which i now have the recipe for).

sharing the room with ktpinto and eron15 was no problem...except they teased me relentlessly about how long it takes me to get ready. but hey, i try to plan for it. (:3 no, really, it was great to see the both of them again and cause mischief and be dr0nk...though i think it was really just me that did most of the dr0nking. but i'm okay with that.

so with that i give you...
things i learned at lunacon:

1. going to the "how to get laid at a con" panel makes for lots of fun if you wind up at a party where everyone else went to it too.

a. glazing - not just for doughnuts anymore.

b. if i show you my palms, i dig you.

2. whiskey cake is wikkid tastey.

3. there is always one person in the room who loves the sound of their own voice...and thinks everyone else does too.

4. doctors can be goth.

5. cheese wontons are not crab rangoon, even if they have crabmeat in them. so there.

6. cupcakes for $5 do not sell. but they make great bonus prizes for next morning's breakfast buffet.

7. excess pakaging sucks.

8. it is perfectly logical that the seventh floor and the second floor are actually the same floor.

9. obvious cleavage is still a good weapon after all these years.

10. toothbrush. but if you really care, toothpaste.

11. dont sit on lincoln, he's a log.


i think that about wraps it up. there could be more, but right now my brain is easily distracted.

back to the grind.....

Wait where is lunacon? This reminds me of a hotel I was at for a con in Michigan. We called it the hotel that Escher built. cause the top floors of the place were next to the bottom floors...

I do like that icon, but I still like mine better. And I'd also point out that while the eyes of the person talking to _you_ glazing over _probably_ means that they've stopped paying attention to what you are saying it doesn't necessarily mean they've lost interest (refer to point number nine).

I just noticed the name you listed in your LJ User profile and started cracking up. I had a vision of a tornado composed of little rabbits wandering through the desert creating spice-spouts. That was followed immediately by a Tasmanian Devil-Rabbit image. It's warped my fragile little mind.
