hmm...today the world is waking up....less people on here more emails to read mailings to catch up on. at least in my world.

but eerily, its quiet.

in a few moments i'm off to the back snap doctor. woot!

i'm very much looking forward to tonight. i am not looking forward to tomorrow morning and playing zombie. oh well. i suffer for my art. and no rest for the wikkid either...i have errands to run tomorrow after work: pedicure, pick up the mail from dad's, hit the grocery store, hit wal-mart, pack up for weekend, contemplate world domination...

i think i am beginning to search for work.
i hate admitting it.
it makes me feel really lame and with no idea where to go from here. i mean, all i wanted was to work in the music industry, and i get here....and it's poop. i could play the waiting game, and see when/if my boss leaves the company...which may very well happen during the course of my search. but i dont want to play that game.

frankly, i think the biggest down fall of my resume is that my work history is not solid. eeldrytch is the longest i've ever stayed at a company. feh.

this hurts my brain.

and so i drone on.
drone drone drone.

The music industry, after all, is still an industry. You are but a small, insignificant cog.

Once you work for yourself (and even when you worked for E, there was still a large element of being soley responsible), it's hard to get used to the routine of others.

Decide what you loved about faire. Decide what you loved about the music industry. Write it down, tell people, focus. I don't think you've figured out yet what you really wanna do, but your tribe can help.

Miss you, love. 25 seconds in a faraway town didn't cut it.

yeah, i think you pretty much put it into words. it is a totally different reality than what i had. i guess i expected that to a point, but it is still culture shock.

comtemplating going freelance is a huge step...and again, you're probably right about what youve said.

ah, yes, i am way long overdue for some marrus time!
thanks for the thoughts.

That's why you always have two resumes... the real one, and the one you show perspective employees. The latter is the one where you've been at jobs for YEARS and still have contacts that say nothing but good about you!

I mean, you were with SEER Productions for how many years again?
