half awake, pulled apart

dredpiratebunnyi had a really weird, really creepy, really gross dream the other night. i still remember the key part of it very vividly. it's a big WTF kind of thing.
anyone good at the game of interpretations?
here we go...
in my dream i'm in a large gathering of people. it feels like a school gym sized room. not crowded, but full.
i look down and i see my belly button. it has this ooze coming out of it. not thick or dribbly, just enough to be noticed. i begin squeazing it and more comes out. yeah, this is gross.
some how, my belly button is stretching enough for me to look inside it. i can see something in there. i reach in with my thumb and index finger, grab hold of something and pluck it out. it makes a sucking wet sound, and leaves a gap like pulling a piece of fruit from jello. it's a finger. the index finger of a man to be exact. at least i think. it's severed cleanly at the bottom. it feels gelatinous. i cant stop looking at it.
soon thereafter i am noticed, and someone brings me to a doctor.
i wake up here.
all i can see is this finger, and the void it left behind.
weird.
and i have no idea what it means.

the gym lends an element where perhaps it is a trial of your mental and emotional strength from which you gain ability of experience, this new found ability is fragile and new and unaccustomed and you are surprised to find it in you.
yes, the more I think about it the more I feel it relates to being unsure of your abilities in this matter.
