so i meant to write this a few days ago...but hopping back into work has of course been the priority.

i am back from the wilds of wisconsin. through dangers untold (stupid ass-UV drivers) and hardships unumbered (has anyone seen my voice? or rather, heard it?)...blah blah blah.

despite catching a sore throat almost immediately on the way to horicon, the drive out was great. i logged in 8 hours/551 miles on tuesday night before using the pouty face to secure a hotel room for 40 bucks in erie pennsylvania. woke up at 9.30, lollygaged in bed, did some sit-ups, watched the news (car chase in davie florida, chemical plant explosion in danvers mass.), showered, and went off to a cracker barrel breakfast, and was on the road again by 11AM.

i managed to stop in gurnee IL to meet up with the lovely and talented cathy from sky chairs..we had a yummy dinner and shared some gossip.

then back on my way to a total of 1178 miles to horicon wisconsin. i arrived at 11PM (stoopid chicago holiday traffic) and proceeded to shock the bejeebus out of matty that i was actually there. operation: birthday surprise was a success. (:3

i spent thanksgiving at matty's family's house out near dubuque....sheesh...another long time in the car...it took 4 hours of driving to be at dinner for 3. go figure.
that night is the bestest pahty evar! at matty and jim's house, where i proceed to shock several other guests. go me!

friday was a trip to town and then i took a nap. cause i'm old.
then we headed up to in your face tattooz in fond du lac. matty was getting some work done by g-bo. he's the same guy that did my piece on my left thigh, the painting by

murcurial_realm. i didnt get to have any more work done though, as my mom needed me to help her with her moving deposit. *sigh* oh well.

satyrday was a loungy day of movies. then at night we went out to the inferno, which is probably one of my favorite clubs ever. the two dj's there that night were doing a good bye show, and the music was kick ass. even with my throat as bad as it was, i kept dancing. couldnt stop. i got to meet up with a crap load of folks from the area including:

not_eurotic and his lovely wife sigrid...he was a bit shocked to see me in his neighborhood i think...

psych0tron some one i was reading back when i lived in wisco...i'm hoping he applies to dj at the black sun fest....

darknes who has to be one of the best bribers around. a $50 beer would have been great, except i dont pick the bands at black sun all by myself anyway!

djwhiterabbit who i got to meet in person after about 3 years (only met once before) and i'm hoping he applies to dj also.

i met a bunch of other folks too in various bands and such. everyone was very cool.
oh! and there was this cute tall boy who looked an awful lot like

sircraigmorgan but i didnt say anything to him....turns out it was him! i think i didnt recognize you because you shaved. hee hee.

well, i will update this entry further in a few, as work is sending me off on another errand again...der...
