today i learned that canadians dont count.
just kidding...its just that they cant apply for the promotion we had over the weekend. oh well...bad canuckian! no credit.

i also learned that im probably going to have to dump about $500 into my car between brakes and some fluid flushes...at least the summers almost over so no need to worry about the AC recharge...and i still dream of a cd player or even a crummy little radio, but thats a long way off. *sigh* i so miss listening to music while driving. feh.

and next on the list of learning...i dont have columbus day off. pooh...first columbus day i wont make it to faire in 8 years. i may still ask for it anyway...dunno.

I wonder if J's car is truly dead, if we can scavage the radio for your car? And I have a portable Cd/MP3 player you can have (now that I have my Ipod I have no need for these things!) and we'll get you a setup for it.

I'm still on for Thursday, I'll try and call you tonight. My Ipod and I will be happy to get you (i'll need directions again) but I dunno if either of us will be drinking, it depends on whether or not I get a check tonight in the mail.

cool!...i dunno if a portable player thingie would work without a radio to broadcast through? cause i have a discman and a thing that plugs in to broadcast to a radio station...but, no radio.

I'm intruding here because I saw toast3r had you down as a friend. I'd like to know if you'd be willing to help out for his birthday.

The man mentioned in his LJ that he wanted to be able to go back to SF to visit people and to enjoy himself on a vacation. Thus, I decided to hold a "ship toast3r home" drive. It ends late tomorrow night. Currently I've got $128.50 already donated via PayPal. I'd like to get as much as possible for him; gas / airfare / etc isn't getting any cheaper...
