comparing the jerb
Jul. 21st, 2005 07:25 pmas an update, the coldstone interview went well. a very relaxed interview if ever there was one.
to sum up my week of potential jobs:
1. maynard (company perks company):
+ decent commute (30-40 min.)
+ hands on type of job
+ dogs in the office
+ within my salary range and with benefits
+ basically in a field of work i would enjoy
- might be the bottom end of my salary range
2. framingham (events management):
+ growth potential for sure
+ right salary and benefits
+ best commute at about 15 min tops
3. charlestown (coldstone):
+ ice cream!
+ right salary and benefits
+ hands on
+ growth potential
- the commute definitely sucks and i would want to move closer
- food service industry is never where i thought id be, even though the experience would be cool.
so basically, they are all good jobs and all would offer me a challenge other than straight up admin.
whew...good week.
looks like i already have another interview on monday for another event company. in brookline, which i hate driving to...but oh well. that is for an office manager position and im not sure it would be worth it. i will go anyway though. the more interviews the better i say. but frankly im hoping for an offer from one (or more!) of the above companies by next week.
i need a nap. or some ice cream. heh.
