dredpiratebunnyim in. four days of production assistant for the locations department. *does happy dance*
i got called on monday to go to a meeting/interview to find out about the job. after the brief talk about what we were needed for (there was about 6 of us there), we were dismissed and they said they would call us to let us know where the actual production meeting was. the guy in charged asked me to hang on a second after everyone left and wanted to know about my cirque du soleil experience. then wanted to know if i was available for the 2 days of work. i said absolutely.
after several hours pass (spent at one of best burger places in the french quarter as well as a bar), i got called and was asked to work not 2 but 4 days of the gig. sweet. i got noticed. heh.
so theres my foot. its in the door. now its a matter of how i can get the rest of me in and make a living out of it.
though i am still hoping the dream job happens too. which incidentally is for universal music doing what i did in my internship only better.
so im seeing the results of this altered way of thinking. i can make things happen for myself. lets see where i can go from here.
