so in my chicago hotel last week, in the hall on the way to my room, is this button:


still...not so strange. until you see the zoom out:




yes, that is a random button...in the middle of the hall.
WTF??

so of course, i pushed it.

turns out it opens the elevator. which is at the end of the hall and no where near the button. hahahahha.

I would have pushed it too! So when you want the elevator, do you have to push the button and run to the end of the hall to catch the elevator??

For people on the go: press the button, the elevator is waiting by the time you get to it. Genius!

For everyone else: wait for someone to get near the elevators, press the button, spook them the hell out.

That is so freakin' awesome. Period. It's a sweet kind of torture when you think about it. To have to push the button and then run for the elevator down the hall.
