when they say ignorance breeds ignorance...i dont think they meant literally...*sigh*

and my favorite poem promoting the choice not to breed (i forget who wrote it)

they fuck you up your mum and dad
they may not mean to, but they do
they fill you with the faults they had
and add some extra just for you

but they were fucked up in their turn
by men in old style hats and coats
who half the time were sloppy-stern
and half at one anothers throats

man hands on misery to man
it deepens like a coastal shelf
get out as early as you can
and dont have any kids yourself

interesting, despite the fact that the stupid breed more, population iq goes up 15 points every couple of generations....

*grin* strangely no... we will do better at tests given to the previous generation, and they will to worse at tests for our generation...
but then iq here has been shown to be directly related to how long you've lived in the uk (even the sorts of iq tests like Ravens Matrices that are completely non verbal non cultural and just random pics of squiggles) .... But then iq doesn't have anything to do with how competant one is in relating to the world, so is fairly meaningless.
