what dreams may come

i woke up in the middle of the night during a dream.
in this dream, i was catching 2 of my coworkers in the act (of what i'm not sure, but it was criminal.)
i had a gun and shot one. then one of them shot me in the neck. so i shot her in the shoulder. i remember walking home to my mom's, somehow still able to talk, and not gushing blood. i told her to call 911. all the while i was clutching my throat which both hurt and didnt hurt.

weird.

so i'm curious now...

I do a lot of third-person dreaming, where I'm watching action that I am not in. Similarly, I have a lot of dreams where my POV is the main character, but the main character is someone other than me.
