Mar. 8th, 2004 12:02 amthe road cries out
pebbles shaking the ground
dust heavy footfalls
comet tails of desert-bound trucks
miniature armageddons
explosive and parched
in this scorched land
a million sunsets are not enough
there are other days, other hours counting down
steps through the sand erode a canyon
break through a heart
a voice caught thickly in the swollen throat
the echo of the screaming no further than the mind
the fingers etch into the gravel and stone
kokopelli long gone
the water with him
a handprint torn away by the wind
skin following soon after
bones remain
gleaming of the truth left behind
pebbles shaking the ground
dust heavy footfalls
comet tails of desert-bound trucks
miniature armageddons
explosive and parched
in this scorched land
a million sunsets are not enough
there are other days, other hours counting down
steps through the sand erode a canyon
break through a heart
a voice caught thickly in the swollen throat
the echo of the screaming no further than the mind

Date: 2004-03-08 05:36 pm (UTC)And I'm actually writing cuz I really liked the philosophical discussion you had on population growth. You had a lot of great points and so did others. Rather than sharing my thoughts, I wanted to point you in the direction of this weird(Good weird) and interesting group that I think you might enjoy. http://www.churchofeuthanasia.org
(But, just who is that guy, who doesn't think that you can meet anyone after 30? I dare prove him wrong, really I do! LOL)
