...i had sooooo much fun dancing my ass off! (thank you again djwhiterabbit)....club inferno is different from man-ray...but more like home...and hey, its not really snobby like the boston scene...

....had an incredible time...i want some more!!!

...also ran into this kid chris....he used to spend most of the day in my booth at the bristol faire....it was cool to see a familiar face....and met his friend craig...he was very cute....and since we were both taken we decided we would be non-committal flirters for the night...worked out for me...

...tired now...stoopid dumb hour and a half drive...

manray isnt snobby, ive only lived here like 6-7 months and im already djing there and have no problems with people, you just gotta know how to approach :P

Oh honestly.
when you ass kiss everyone in sight, and try REAL HARD like you do, of course you're going to be djing. it's pretty obvious what you're trying to do/be. And when you're on the caliber or time put in of Lady Bee, or Mothra, then we'll talk. I mean, OK you're DJing Convergence and that's great, but you HAVE only been here 6 or 7 months. *shrugs*

ive been going to manray for 6 years....and seeing the same people there...and being friendly...by snobby, i mean its very clique like....i didnt mean it to be a huge insult...just that people are a lot more uppity in boston (im from mass, i know these things! (:3 )...i even had an easier time with the club in miami....*shrug* just an opinion....

i didnt think it as an insult, i was referring to this tiamat person that was trying to insult me (or so it seems), if youve had a better time in miami that really amazes me, miami can be pretty freakin rough, the first time i ever went to a club i already had a rumor started about me lol, everyone down there creates drama cuz theyve nothing else to do, thats why i like it up here, more culture, a bunch of different states/places are within hours away, in florida, only way to see another state is around 8-10 hours driving

Oh yes, that's exactly it.
Lord knows I've been kissing ass for years and gotten nowhere, I'm EVER so bitter at the little children who roll in and expect to be god in 6-8 months. All while needing rides everywhere.

I wouldn't be a dj if you paid me. Noone would like what I play anyway, considering it would be all the gothy, keyboard heavy stuff I like.

You may come up to me on Wednesday, if I make it out after working all day, and say this to my face. I'm usually on the bench, near the stairs, with feline if she makes it herself.

dont expect to be god lol, nor do i really need rides anywhere, thats what the train is for, hell i just got off the redline myself ;)

djing is a hobby, not necessarily paying all the time, it all depends on location/time, playing things different from the normal format is a good thing, so i say go for it, i started djing because i got sick of the same crap being repeated, ill probably be there wednesday, im djing 9-10 as usual, but dunno how late im staying, ive got plans with my girlfriend that may or may not go through, and the bitter thing was just a joke, lighten up :P

Unfortunately, the "bitter thing" isn't funny.

I mean, don't get me wrong, you're ambitious, and successful at it. I know lots of people who havne't gotten as far in years, let alone such a brief time.

I'm just working today and don't want to be, and snappish from working all the time. I shouldn't have snapped, although my opinion is the same.

Just rememeber your vision isn't what all of us want. Lots do, but you can't please everyone all the time. I like the "same old crap" since I don't see it as being "crap" but I know that's not all that can be put out there.

I was just talking the other night about how Boston is a bit more open than other places, when it comes to being different. My friend Feline was telling me a HILARIOUS story about pissing off the queen of some dinky club in Detroit, and we came to the conclusion that while Boston wasn't exactly friendly, we didn't have any of THOSE. (OMG I laughed my ass off, apparantly you're not supposed to dance before SHE does, and F did - hijinks ensue!) And we're friendly enough, if you don't come running in like an asshole, and make a nuisance of yourself.

I can introduce you around if you come back for any length of time, that'll change your whole opinion.

London on the other hand - whole different story.

glad you came out and had a good time, (that's gotta be a rough drive)! it was nice to finally put a face to the name. : D i wanted to catch you once more before you left, but missed you (i had a disc to give you)... ah well, next time!
