a lament for lilacs.

its lilac season. they smell so good. my co-worker has a big vase of them on her desk and i am wikkid jealous. i dont even think there are any lilac trees in my neighborhood i can steal some from.

I love lilacs. And it's very hard to find a scent that duplicates them perfectly.

Ah lilacs! My first apartment had a two story tall white lilac smack outside the bathroom window. This time of year we'd throw the windows open and the whole house would smell of lilac. Mmmmmm. I miss that.
