got the aveo inspected this morning and passed. i guess i kind of take it for granted now...but it used to be i drove cars and never knew if they were gonna pass inspection or not. ive had a few rejection stickers in my day! i guess i kinda feel pretty accomplished about the car. maybe i'm becoming an adult? hmmm...maybe i still have a ways to go before i feel truly sucessful. i can at least acknowledge that i've come pretty far.

i'll always here the mother road whispering into my ear i think.
i'll have to satiate it with vacation road trips and driving 4 hours here and there.
why? becuase if they catch me they will kill me.
i'm not ready to go down.

this evening post-gym drunken olympics might be back on. plans for this evening have not firmed up.

looks like next friday's trip to 6 flags is happening. just need to watch the weather. i'm psyched that thevirtualjim let me talk him into playing hookey from work too. and i hope all the rides are open...and its a good day. and that i remember my spf 9000. silly sun allergicness.

I still hear the mother road whispering in my ear, and I've been stable for 13 years now.

The whisper makes me do crazy things, like drive 3 hours each way just for a dinner.

Or plan parties in CT while I live in DE.

And maintain a close circle of friends in NY, so I always have to road trip to see them.

You too??? People thought I made up being allergic to the sun. Now at least I know someone else who is too. I still burn with the perscription stuff, my doctor said just use SPF 50 something is better than nothing...

Just an FYI, my little motorcycle mama....the Coldstones in Bellingham, MA is giving out coupons for 6 Flags - up to 6 adults pay children's entrance fees!! So, you could totally rock out on TWO fixes with one trip! The Coldstones is off of Rte 495, don't know the exit but it's rte 126...it's in the plaza with the Hoyt's movie theater and the Chili's right next door.
