xmas bonus, i hath knew you once...

dredpiratebunnyafter being awarded a pretty nice bonus from work....it's right back out the window. i figured quick turnaround was key, as i had decided to make a large payment on my monte carlo and didnt want to put that off. the other half goes to a large payoff to a credit card. and there's a bit left over to treat jay to a birthday celebration at the museum of science this satyrday.

all gone.
starting to realize that i still have presents to buy. feh. the main priority is getting out my brother's package by next week as it has to journey all the way to denmark.
then, dad wants a shirt and tie. though if i can come up with something a tad more interesting, i'll throw it in there. but my dad doesnt really have too much he needs.
mom is good...she got a brand spankin new 27" tv on sunday. hers is nicer than mine. her previous one got ruined from moving. jay says he can fix it, and if so, her old one might be good for us to have as an extra. (possibly alleviating the tv on at bedtime problem....well, maybe...)
jay...no idea what to get him. i already bought a few small somethings. but i need something good. requires more thought.
otherwise i think i'll be making craploads of cookies on sunday to wrap up and hand out to co-workers and such.
i bought xmas cards. who knows if i'll actually get to send any. currently i am living hidden away with only the internet for light of day (yes, i'm apologizing...)
anyone know any places to have xmas day brunch?? no luck finding much yet.
and with that, i deem it time to escape my handbasket and make a run for the exit outta here...
