shrinkage!
Dec. 4th, 2006 04:09 pmthe day has gone by pretty fast...and i feel a bit better. the gloom can only last so long before it gets old, eh?
i suppose this would be a good time to report a weight loss update...
november was pretty stagnant. lots going on...and the travel at the end made it rough. but even with sitting on my butt in the car that long, and eating a lot of fast food stuff...i managed to take a walk on one morning and go dancing one night. all in all only 2 pounds gained from that weekend.
otherwise, came home and got back on track. lost a few quite easily due to sickness, which is not the best way to do it, but at least i have a little jump start to get going again.
no belly dance class tonight, so i hope to hit the gym. even if its only for a short work out...just enough to get moving again...cause i am kinda still sick, or at least icky. (last week i dont even think i drove by the gym, much less went...)
so that being said, a total of 30 pounds has been dropped since july.
tough going, though. i also know i have a lot of holiday parties to make it through.
but i'm psyched to be fitting into clothes i didnt think i'd be able to wear again. i'm only 10 pounds away from my first goal. then its 20 more pounds to be where i never thought i'd be in my life. it may not be until next summer, but i'm okay with that. especially if it means i can still have ice cream.
