the bunny tale continues...

post inferno, and unfortunately declining afterparty invites, we stopped for a quick bit at denny's. it is at this point that i am squeeking in order to talk and nearly pass out on matty's shoulder. then they brought me toast. and all was right again.

the drive back to horicon that night was spent curled under some warm winter coats and sleeping.

sunday, the day of leaving, was hard...sore from dancing, and time to pack everything up. i headed out from matty's at about 11AM. i was hoping to meet up with

smoogityboo, but he was sick and it wasnt meant to be. i had lunch planned with sunshine. originally i was meeting her a tad north of chi-town, which would have been cool to see some of that crew....but she ended up staying in racine...so i took her to some cute little italian place for her birthday.

after that i was off! and i headed out...managed to kick through all the way to just south of buffalo, stopping sometime around 3.30AM. that makes 765 miles/15 hours (including stops).
alas, my hotel-fu must have left me and i didnt find a place to stay...so i slept in my car until about 9.30AM. this was all part of my evil plan to divert myself up to niagara falls.

god i love niagara falls!!! post breakfast i wandered over and took lots of photos, and smiled as the mist hit my face in 60 degree weather. it's like home there for me. it was hard to leave.
it was only supposed to be an hour side trip...but i think it was at least 2. i almost walked to canada...heh...
oh, and i'm kicking myself for not bringing wolfgang's number with me..he's only an hour from there and we could have met for brunch or somehting. maybe next time.

i somehow made it home around 9.30PM monday night, 1256 miles driven. and i even had a yummy chicken dinner awaiting my return.

i'm happy to be home....but wisconsin and niagara will always have a piece of my heart.
