what is the line between running away and self-preservation?

curse these legs and how gravity lusts them.

self-preservation is when you know you won't be able to win or fight the battle. It's when all other options are exhausted, and no matter the choice, fight is the only way to make it out.

Running Away is when there are other options at had, but this is the easiest for you to deal with. This is when a person is afraid of loss, even though they have a shot at making the situation turn in their favor.

I think the line depends on what you run from. Will it kill you, or some part of you, if you stay? If so, then running away IS self-preservation.

Keep your bunny ears up. (Unless you're a lop; I've never seen them so I'm not sure ;)

As long as you're running in my direction so I can watch you move...

*wink*

But seriously, what's going on that you ask this?
