good weekend despite the whiney wanna be storm of ernesto. satyrday didnt turn out too bad, but it was a slow day. it was a bit chilly and windy too.
sunday may not have been the downpour every weatherman was predicting, but people stayed away. a few diehards showed up, but the faire closed down at 3pm. i was hoping to hit the movies, but no one else really wanted to. so i headed off to my mom's and she did my hair into disgustingly cute pin curls.
it must have worked as i was pulled over for speeding on rt 44. i was under somebody's good graces as the officer kindly let me go with a written warning. thats what i get for rocking out in my car to dj scandy. yup. 70 in a 50. i'm a naughty girl.
otherwise, monday was great. my man came down and visited. i made a decent weekends pay. i bought new chainmail jewelry. i flirted recklessly. my new leather bodice was a hit. the bodice tan is already making itself known.
all in all a good time. i'm looking forward to many more weekends of mayhem!
