well, scratch the cirque job in new jersey. they have union that does it all. the only thing available is for merchandising, which living a month in new jersey for is not all that keen to me. though it would have been cool to hang at my uncles house and get away for a while...and see some local folks. oh well.

back at that drawing board...

interview tomorrow with a staffing agency regarding a position in an advertising agency.
interview on monday with a staffing agency regarding a 2 month temporary position as a trade show coordinator.
2 more jobs to send resumes to.
whew.

i think my heart is in the process of being stolen. i am such a dork.

my mom is on my case whining about how i havent yet gone to visit her. shes driving me nuts. she lives about 2 hours away and i have no vehicle to see her...see doesnt have one to see me, and even if she did, thats too much back and forth. you know, my brother lives in denmark and he doesnt get this flack. wtf?
grr. just got the guilt trip this morning about how it apparently isnt my priority to see her. well, since my number one priority right now is to find a job, well, duh!...shes all bummed that jim is getting to see me as well. since he only lives 10 minutes from here and picks me up on his way home from work its no big deal. i just cant seem to win with her.

im thinking that staying in might be better for me tonight. then i know ill get up in time for my interview. and i want to go for my walk in a bit too.

I'm planning on going to Worcester to see my friend's band tonight, instead of ManRay anyway. I wasn't going to stay late - if you want to go out for a while, have a drinkie and relax. I won't promise it won't suck tho. *evil grin*

Also - am going on Friday - it's some sort of Carnivale night, and I'm buyin' if you want out of the house. I'm hopefully going to be meeting an LJ friend, who livesin NorthHampton but I've never met. Weird. I'm not really WANTING anything, but I think it's freaky I've never actuallY MET this guy. And because I'm wise, I AIN'T meeting him alone, thank YOU. Public spaces for me!

my friend Chris' band - The Dirge Carollers. It's at the Lucky Dog, and it's FREE! *gasps!* He's saying they're going on at 10, but I was gonna get there around 8ish to hang out with him, and I can leave after that. There are other bands and stuff. And probably a beer.

Sup to you - I can pick you up or something. Poke me if interested - I'll probably try to leave my house around 7ish or so, depending on how late I have to work. It seems that the office might shut down around 5:30ish and I still don't have a security code. Hee hee hee!

So it isn't just my mom that does that! Wow! Anyway, parentals are really good at pushing their children's buttons, after all they installed them. Don't worry about it, maybe calling her more regularly will help.
