rainy icky no good day.
cant finish raking because of it. bummer.
tonight might be tacos night...and im very much looking forward to going out on my birthday. it would be cool to have a big party, but a movable feast is somewhat better. ill be my own mardigras parade!

on the work front: retirement has already begun shooting in florida, so i wont get on that crew. one production i was excited about is apparently held up at the moment and theyre not shooting yet...and the last one gave voice mail, so while thats not lost, it will be tough to get a human on the phone...ill try again on monday. this p.a. thing isnt easy i guess. makes me wonder how i fell so easily into the dukes thing. hmmm.

plans still in effect to depart on tuesday. i might try that post by phone thing. not sure how that will work.

last night ate some yummy pizza buffet. tim spoils me. and also kicked nancy's ass playing scrabble. i think i pulled one of the most brilliant moves. i built off of her letter "z" with my "q" "u" and "i"..."quiz" with a double letter and triple word score for a sweet 33 points. okay, so it might be lame to be excited by scrabble. but i dont have a playstation or an xbox. so there. nyah!

i will be baking banana bread. my banana bread is an addiction. mmm.
