dukes of hazzard over and done with. though the rumors could prove otherwise...there might be work up near baton rouge..ill have to call and check. otherwise, no bites yet on work, lots of follow up calls to make tomorrow. and i mean lots. (still not shut out for cali job as far as i know either)

today was utter uselessness. i woke up read slept ate read slept and finally kicked my ass out of bed to shower. that was my day. i feel pretty retarded. but looking forward to getting more work. please.

did get to go to a party satyrday night. burt reynolds apparently paid for the open bar. saw him and that jessica chick. knoxville showed just as i was taking off. must stop drinking beer as a dinner substitute.

it was cold as fuck this weekend (except for a few hours of warm sunshine.) and biking in was pretty rough at times. still easier than driving big ass van though. then i saw that it was snowing in massachusetts. and toasted to the gods that i wasnt there. i just dont have a right to complain about it being 20 degrees, do i?

i think i have a sore throat...not sure if its from all the yelling, or just from being run down. im leaving from marrus's house soon and will probably spend my first night in the van...i hope its a bit warmer tonight. otherwise i will go seek shelter at tim's mom's house again.

if i can get another nibble in the film world, i am definitely going to look into getting an apartment. might still do florida if i have to, then just come back to nola and keep trying. who knows?

i am managing to keep this good vibe going. i hope it continues. this is my year i am convinced.

otherwise, though i didnt get to spend too much time, hanging out with [livejournal.com profile] poetman in the quarter was fun. and he took me to the aquarium. woot! tried going out with them last night, but i was so pooped, i bailed...to much schmoozing and boozing with the crew after the movie didnt help either.
also ran into a chick from clearwing the company i worked at in milwaukee...heh...

bring it on world...i can take it!

Yeah, wind chill in the BELOW zeros tonight.
Fuck you and your French Quater whining *grins*

Am I reading wrong or did you say it was 20 degrees?

Tonight ought to be fun - they're coming in grumpy at NEARLY midnight. I'm not looking forward to this *lol*

Funny, I'm presenting a paper at a conference in April which appears something like this in the program - the OFFICIAL program:

"The Gigabit Build Out" (or I installed 12,000 gigabit ports in 3 weeks and all I got was this lousy t-shirt).

And they're printing it that way! I'm a little overexceited as this is my first time presenting, but your blog post title seemed timely to my discovering my paper's talk in print, arrived in my corporate mailbox last week. :)

Good luck with the rest of the search!
