back to my lovely reality as i put more money towards the creditors i owe...der...

i probably spent more money this week than i should have, but i feel a bit better since i have been able to pay money to the overdue bills just about every week...this was actually the first time in a while that i have been able to buy something for myself that was kind of frivolous.

still not sure ive made the minimum monthly payment due, but it shouldnt be quite as high next time...i hope...


mormons came to the door. sadly i turned them away. if anyone is going to convert me to mormonism, than it will be sarah who works with me at faire. heh...still tempted to open the door nekkid though...

I encountered Mormons for the first time when answering the door at my mistress' flat in Oakland, Ca. I was most disturbed, as the suits and haircuts had me convinced they were FBI or similar until they produced their silly Mormon ID.

We don't generally have them over here. What believer in the late Joseph Smith's remarkable personal lifetime income generator, polygamy facilitator and underwear franchising racket would want to live anywhere other than on the hallowed turf of the USA? If I did run into any on my doorstep though, I doubt I would be able to keep a straight face now I know about their compulsory anti-Satan longjohns and the nonsense with the gold plates...

Pointing and laughing disperses most doorstep evangelists. Since most of them have never read any Lovecraft, it can also be fun to describe one's personal belief in the Great Old Ones, complete with quotes from the Necronomicon and Revelations of Glaaki.
