sunshine: "pull over and lets look under the hood"
me: "thats a good idea"
after pulling over and attempting to pop the hood: "did you see that?!?"
sunshine:"what?"
me: "the pull tab for the hood just pulled out and fell to the ground!"
...at that point between fits of giggling we decided to stop the test drive and return the minivan to its owner...that car is only worth half of what he wants for it...der...so the struggle moves ever on...i didnt want to be a soccer mom anyway...

...did fill out an application for a pretty good looking job...admin stuff, but decent enough of a paycheck...its kinda far, but with any luck i might have a car soon...at least i keep thinking positively...its for a consulting firm and although their list of requirements seems long, you gotta respect a company that recognizes a good sense of humor as important (among other things of course)...so maybe ill get a call for them...would you believe not one call so far on any of the resumes out there?...kinda makes a girl feel insignificant...

...and in other related news, matt has called to say he might drive over satyrday and spend the night...he might...as in, isnt sure yet...and when i asked why he was considering, he said he knew i was upset about it...but got offended when i asked him why the change of mind...i just have a feeling that he'll call in the morning and say he cant make it...but oh i wish he'll prove me wrong!...he does claim that no matter what he wants to pick me up next weekend, and on thursday night no less...hmmm....i hope so...it kinda sucks to have moved out here and never get to see him...at least i have alternatives should it all fall apart...

...otherwise i am so tired of doing the same things all the time...
i dont want to be a robot
i would like to be able to buy groceries
i remain ever hopeful

The further you are from a major city, the less jobs there are. Simple economic fact; don't beat yourself up over it. Are there temp agencies nearby? I've found office temping to be a good method of getting money in my pocket, fast. No job stability, but at least I get some cash while I'm searching for something more solid and enjoyable.

yup...looked into a few...still working on the car problem though which severely inhibits my mobility...
